Pollination Service Pricing Pricing is based on one crop/bloom placement of up to four weeks. Rates are per healthy, active honeybee colony and are designed for local and regional farm pollination agreements. Standard term: Up to 4 weeks | Extension: $30 per colony per additional week | Recommended minimum contract: $250
Transportation outside Kimbleland Farm's normal service area, extraordinary hive moves, specialized placement requirements, or high-risk crop environments may be quoted separately.
What's Included Delivery and placement of contracted colonies; routine colony monitoring during the contracted period; normal hive management; and removal of colonies at the end of the pollination period.
Grower Responsibilities The grower must provide a safe and reasonably accessible hive location, vehicle access for placement and removal, reasonable protection from livestock and farm equipment, and access to an adequate water source or permission for Kimbleland Farm to provide one.
Pesticide notice: The grower must notify Kimbleland Farm at least 48 hours before any planned pesticide application within or near the pollination area. This includes insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and other crop-protection products that may expose colonies.
Payment For new customers, 50% of the estimated contract total is due when the agreement is signed and the remaining 50% is due before or upon colony placement, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Established commercial accounts may receive separately negotiated payment terms.
Cancellation If the grower cancels before colony delivery, nonrefundable transportation, preparation, or other costs already incurred may be deducted from the deposit. Once colonies have been delivered, the contracted pollination fee is due unless otherwise agreed in writing.
